Heres what I have anyways...

Dulist Helm of Superior Swordsmenship + 1 Swordsmenship +3 Swordsmenship

Gladiator's Hauberk of Major Absorbtion - 2 dmg

Gladiator's Gauntlets of Minor Strength + 1 Strength

Gladiator's Leggings of Major Vigor +41 HP

Knight's Boots of Minor Tactics + 1 Tactics

Superior Absorbtion is not needed, unless if you have money to blow, it's the skills you should be working on.

Spiders do physical damage right...?
you'll want high physical defense....

Knights: 90+absorb
plate: 95
glads: 100

solution: gladiators with ascalon boots = best

case closed =D

Those are global as well...

Personally, I use 15k Glads and a 15k Ascalon helm.

Glads Chest
Glads Legs
Glads Gloves
Knight's Boots
+1 weapon skill helm

I just don't see why you'd need +1 Tactics to do a spider run. Especialy if you're using the Physical Resistance build.

It's genneraly a good idea to have the +1 from your helm to be in your highest atribute. Are you guys doing spider runs with a higher tactics than weapon mastery?

I agree with Murder, full Gladiator's with an Ascalon helmet is most efficient. Best against physical attacks, which is what you take constantly in Fissure. Plus the extra energy is a huge help (yes, even if you use 100 Blades with a zealous mod). As for attributes, skills, etc - follow Racthoh's guide and you can't go wrong.

Glads + ascalon helm may be efficient for certain things but it is the least efficient for everything else.

You'd have to have an extra pair of boots if you ever want to go out and do some decent damage...
